The district's mission is to educate students. Prioritizing student learning means budgeting our tax dollars from the classroom out.  

Improving measures of student achievement is our first and most important goal.  Period.  Kansas students deserve more from their education than they are getting right now, and our goal is to deliver.

Preserving parents' rights to direct the education of their children is one of the greatest necessities of our time, and we will uphold those rights.

Far too many of our tax dollars never make it to where they belong: instruction.  There are many legitimate expenses for a successful school district, but few-to-none are more important than competitive pay that retains the best teachers.

A safe environment for students and staff is necessary for learning.  A lioness protects, and we prioritize safety over convenience.  

Good leadership is characterized by clear communication.  Honest government works in the open.  We are committed to robust and transparent engagement with every stakeholder, at every possible level.
